ENABLE THE FUTURE - PERSONALIZED PROSTHETICS THORUGH 3D PRINTING

There are about 185,000 amputations occur in the United States each year. 1,500 number of upper limb amputations in the state of Texas per year. Low-income amputees cannot afford commercial prosthetics. The non-profit organization offers free basic prosthetics that are more symbolic than functional. Also, they only serve less than 5% of their needs. We aim to address both the cost and functionality gaps.

Be there for our customers throughout their journey. By offering a membership model. Children get unlimited replacements of their prosthetics up to the age of 18. Adults get all necessary maintenance. Collaborating with Harris Health System, we are working with a group of patients who need such prosthetics.

Our goal for phase one is to provide affordable, readily available, and custom made for perfect. In phase two, we are developing prosthetics that are advanced by elstic 3D printing materials for much impreoved mechanical quality, flexibility, and dexterity. In phase 3, we will integrate sensors and electrical components into the prosthetics to provide haptic feedback in enhancing the control of the mobility.
